For under 5s, their mums, dads and carers
here will be a range of organisations providing services from the Centre. The main ones are:
Health (Croydon PCT/NHS)
Health will be providing a range of their services from the Health Room in the Centre. This will include Well baby Clinics,antenatal and post natal midwives clinic, immunisation information, dental hygiene and breast feeding support.
Job Centre Plus
Information will be available on the benefits available to parents with children who are both in or out of work. Local vacancies will be available for those seeking employment along with information on training and financial support.
Childminding Network
The local Network Childminders access the Stay and Play sessions . If you are interested
in finding out more about local childminders then please contact the Centre or the

Positive Parenting
Positive Parenting are now based in the Centre two days per week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If you would like information on their courses or what other support they have available for parents please contact Jane via the Centre 0208 916 0543.
Parent Line Plus
Julie from Parent Line Plus is available to meet parents/carers needing one to one support. She can normally offer 6x1 hour sessions at the Centre with crèche facilities usually available. Contact the centre for further details.
Mytime Active
The Boost Croydon programme offers a range of services at Woodlands Children’s Centre, with guidance on physical activity and diet/nutrition for babies right through to teenagers. For more information visit their website.
Croydon Adult Learning and Training
CALAT provide a wide range of courses at the Centre, for family learning. These include ICT, numeracy and literacy. Please contact the centre for more information.
