Under 5’s Trim Trail

In order to help prevent accidents we have produced the following guidance:

  • Please ensure that your child is supervised at all times on the equipment
  • The equipment is only suitable for children up to the age of 5 years
  • Ensure children have appropriate clothing and footwear for the equipment
  • Do not use the equipment when it is wet as the surfaces may become slippery
  • Caution may be needed when the ground is frozen or very dry in the summer as it will not provide a cushion if a child falls
  • You use the equipment at your own risk, Woodlands Children’s Centre staff are unable to supervise the use of the equipment
  • Please report any equipment that is damaged or faulty to the Centre staff or any animal faeces, dangerous litter etc

Welly boots for adults and children, are available to borrow from the reception area when it is muddy. For more information on borrowing or donating wellies, please Click here

Woodlands is graded Outstanding by Ofsted!

We are delighted to inform you that we have now officially had feedback from Ofsted, following the inspection of the Centre at the end of September. They have graded Woodlands as ‘OUTSTANDING’.
Copies of the report are available on the Ofsted website and in the Centre (or through the links below)

We would like to thank everyone who has helped to make Woodlands what it is today, the staff team, the professionals that work here, the volunteers, the Governors and Head Teacher, but especially to you the families. We are always impressed with your willingness to engage in new services, try out new ideas and strategies and work to make your family healthier, safer and happier.
