Woodlands Children’s Centre
For under 5s, their mums, dads and carers
The fun day held on 11th July 2008 was to promote the new Centre prior to its opening in September.
The second fun day of the year, the first being in February, was well attend with 110 families and over 160 children enjoying a lovely day.
Activities included face painting, clay leaf making and pot throwing on a real potter’s wheel, arts and crafts,bouncy castle, undersea world inflatable, hook a duck and feed the teddies. A tasty buffet was available throughout the event and families were able browse the display stands and collect information and leaflets on a large variety of services.
The children were entertained with shows from Mr Bonkers, Liz the local Children’s Librarian, Cathy’s music time and a puppet show from the HotWatch!
