Welcome to Woodlands Children's Centre

Woodlands Children’s Centre is within the grounds of the Gilbert Scott Primary School in South Croydon. It is set in an urban area, but amid green belt land backing on to Heathfield’s Farm.

The name was chosen in consultation with the local community at the Fun Day in February 2008. The leaves on the logo incorporate the colours of the school, Croydon Council and Sure Start who fund the Centre.

A theme of the Centre is bears! Inspired by ‘if you go down to the woods today.....’  Woodlands has its own unique bear family waiting to greet you at the Centre and we are planning lots of bear based activities. We have our own Woodlands travelling teddy who is looking forward to staying with lots of families in the area and of course some teddy bears picnics!
